Idea Centrl LLC operates The Daily Ensemble. This policy covers the current iPhone beta and this website. The beta offers optional accounts and AI styling, with no paid subscriptions or advertising. Features can differ between beta builds; we explain label scanning and private-build weather below.
01
Your wardrobe and label scans
Your saved clothes, photos, outfit plans, wear history, preferences, and feedback are stored locally. Photo-based category and color suggestions run on your device. The app does not automatically upload your wardrobe as a cloud backup.
In builds with label scanning, printed text is read on your iPhone. Recognized text and label details—such as brand, size, fabric, care text, and style number—are saved with the piece. Keeping reference photos is optional. Removing a saved label photo does not by itself remove the recognized text or other label details.
Backups you export contain your saved wardrobe data and photos. The app does not encrypt exported backup files. Store and share them carefully; the storage provider you choose handles its own protection and access controls. Unfinished photo batches and account credentials are not included in wardrobe exports.
02
AI styling is optional
After you allow AI styling, selected clothing descriptions, outfit conditions, style preferences, saved styling notes, rejected combinations, and recent messages pass through our Expo-hosted backend to OpenAI to generate advice.
Wardrobe photos, label photos, dedicated label fields and recognized label text, your saved first name, and device coordinates are excluded from these AI requests. Personal information you put in an item name, styling note, or chat message can still be included when that text is sent.
We disable OpenAI’s stored response objects. This does not eliminate provider operational or abuse-monitoring retention. See OpenAI’s API data controls for its handling of API data.
You can use the wardrobe and Today suggestions without AI chat. Chat is held in memory rather than saved as a local chat history. Use New chat or Turn off AI and clear chat to clear the displayed conversation. Saving a styling preference is a separate action. Temporary server-side reply recovery is described below.
03
Accounts and sign-in
Supabase handles authentication and stores your account email and identifier, authentication information, membership status, preview dates, and reply receipts. Resend processes recipient addresses, account-email content, and delivery information to send sign-in messages. If you use an assigned tester password, Supabase processes it for authentication.
We use account information to provide access, manage reply allowances, recover interrupted responses, and prevent duplicate deductions or repeated free previews. An invitation list of email addresses manages who can access the beta AI preview. It is separate from your account and the protected preview-eligibility record.
Signing in restores account access. It does not restore wardrobe photos or replace an exported backup.
04
The services involved
We use service providers to run the app and website. They may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, device or browser information, service-usage data, errors, and security logs. Processing may occur outside your country.
- Expo operates app and backend services. Expo privacy information.
- Supabase handles authentication and account records. Supabase customer-data processing.
- Resend delivers account emails. Resend privacy information.
- OpenAI processes permitted AI styling requests. OpenAI API data controls.
- Apple distributes the beta through TestFlight and handles its diagnostics and feedback. TestFlight privacy information.
The app also includes subscription verification through Apple and RevenueCat when configured. That verification can involve your app account identifier and purchase or membership records. The current beta does not offer paid subscriptions. We do not receive full payment-card details through this process.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for cross-app advertising. This does not mean that no technical or diagnostic data is processed.
05
How long information is kept
- Wardrobe and backups
- Local data remains until you edit or clear it. Older information can remain in wear history and local recovery copies. Exported files stay wherever you saved or shared them until you remove those copies.
- Account records and reply receipts
- These remain with your account until successful account deletion, subject to the separate records described here and provider operational or backup retention. Reply receipts include identifiers, request fingerprints, status, and timing; they are not a full stored chat history.
- Temporary AI answers
- A successful answer is available for connection recovery for 15 minutes after completion. Expired answer content is removed by hourly cleanup, normally within 75 minutes of completion. Removal can take longer if cleanup is delayed.
- Preview eligibility
- A protected identifier derived from your email helps prevent repeated free previews. It expires 180 days after preview activation and is removed during scheduled cleanup. It can remain after account deletion and is not a marketing list.
- Invitations and correspondence
- Beta invitation lists, support messages, and TestFlight feedback are separate from the online account. Deleting the account does not automatically remove them. Contact us to request their removal.
Service providers may retain their own delivery records, security logs, backups, or records required for legal obligations under their policies. Deleting data in the app does not automatically erase every provider record.
06
Your controls and deletion
- Edit individual pieces and preferences. You can remove clothes and styling preferences. A deleted piece’s name may remain in past wear history, and older data may remain in recovery copies or exported backups.
- Clear the local wardrobe. Choose Plan → Delete all my data to clear local wardrobe data, photos, drafts, feedback, and recovery copies. This does not delete your online account or exported files.
- Delete the online account. Choose Plan → Account & membership → Delete my account. A completed deletion removes account, membership, and reply records and requests RevenueCat profile removal where configured. It leaves the wardrobe on your phone and the separate records listed above. If deletion reports an error, retry or contact us.
- Remove exported backups separately. Delete files from the locations where you saved or shared them.
- Manage permissions. You can change camera, photo-library, and location permissions in iPhone Settings.
Deleting an account or the app does not cancel an Apple subscription if you have one; subscription controls are separate.
07
Weather and device permissions
The account-enabled beta uses manually selected weather. In private builds where local weather lookup is available, requesting it uses foreground location and sends approximate coordinates to Open-Meteo. Coordinates are rounded, are not saved in your wardrobe, and are excluded from AI styling requests. Open-Meteo’s terms and privacy information describe its handling.
Camera or photo-library access is requested when you choose to add photos, including label photos in supported builds. You can add clothing details manually without giving photo access.
08
Beta testing and support reports
Apple TestFlight automatically collects crash and usage information and shares beta-testing information with us. If you submit feedback, we receive the comments, screenshots, and related technical information you provide. Your name or email may accompany it, depending on how you joined or what you include. See TestFlight & Privacy.
In the app, Plan → Help & report a problem prepares a report for your review. Optional diagnostics include app version, platform, and wardrobe/photo counts. Photos, clothing names, chat messages, credentials, and your email are not attached automatically by that report tool. Anything you type into the report or attach yourself can contain personal information.
Preparing a report does not send it. You choose the recipient and share it yourself. We use feedback and support messages to respond and investigate issues. Please leave out passwords, sign-in codes, and payment details.

This website
This website is delivered through OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure. Hosting services process technical connection information needed to serve and protect the pages.
The support page’s copy button copies blank report prompts to your clipboard. It does not submit or store a completed report. This website currently has no support-upload form or mailing-list signup. We have not added advertising trackers to its source.

Questions and privacy requests
You can contact Idea Centrl LLC about access, corrections, deletion, or removal from the beta invitation list.
While email support is being set up, open TestFlight → The Daily Ensemble → Send Beta Feedback. The beta feedback contact is listed there.
